The BMO Centre expansion project consists of two distinct phases. The first, enabling works, included all design and construction execution to investigate, disconnect, and reconnect an existing operational data centre with zero down time and enabling works to allow for the phase two scope to commence separate from the existing building. The Second phase included the complete design and construction of the 565,000SF facility including all phases of design from concept to completion and all construction execution from abatement and demolition of the existing facility to commissioning, turn over and FF&E procurement and installation. Both phases occurred while the existing BMO remained in full operation with no impact to Calgary Stampede events being permitted.
