The capital budgeting exercise for the 2026 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games involved the planning, costing and scheduling of over 25 different projects comprising competition and non-competition venues as well as athletes’ villages and workforce accommodation projects in Calgary, Canmore and Whistler. In addition to the coordination of projects, M3 also responded to technical and financial reviews from three levels of government, drafted the bespoke Venue Use & Guarantee Agreement, prepared the relevant sections of the candidature questionnaire for submission to the IOC and was a public spokesperson for BidCo, particularly the capital masterplan, which included public engagement, council presentations and radio and television interviews and press conferences.
