The Town of Canmore and Bow Valley region has undergone significant growth in the last 30 years, increasing the economy, business opportunities, and cost of living. A long term, sustainable, and affordable framework for development and living in Canmore is essential for our generation. New land uses on existing surplus lands will allow for affordable market rental housing and to provide CRPS with income generating educational program spaces/buildings for long term sustainability and resiliency of their program. The CRPS masterplan will be a series of various building typologies that will serve future generations of the Canmore Community. The CRPS ‘students first, the community second, and everyone else third’ vision has been at the forefront of critical systems thinking in creating final development concept.
