The Platform Innovation Centre in Calgary is a 52,000 sqft TI delivered by M from Initiation to project completion and handover. The building is Western Canada’s first
incubator and innovation specific space, bringing together Calgary’s tech resources for help startups launch their ideas.
The facility contains a mix of uses including office space, coworking areas, café, lounge area, innovation hub, and classrooms. A feature stair was installed to create
a dedicated zone for innovation pitches, requiring complex mechanical and electrical service rerouting and significant structural strengthening works to create
an opening in the floor slab.
