The WinSport Day Lodge was constructed in 1986 to serve as a media centre for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games and was later repurposed to be a ski area Day Lodge and to house WinSport’s main administration offices.
The Day Lodge has been in operation for over 35 years and the building is end of life in its current form. A renovation and expansion is necessary to revitalize the building and to ensure its continued efficient operation. The project has obtained funding through GICB and is targeting a Net Zero Carbon Ready design in compliance with this funding agreement.
