The YWCA of Calgary developed their new 120,000 SF Hub Facility in Calgary’s innercity community of Inglewood. The Hub will become the new center of activity for the YWCA of Calgary, offering the majority of programming and housing facilities for the organization. The Hub will serve as the centre for the organization’s administrative operations with a primary focus on the needs of single women requiring housing, but will also provide child development and counselling services, education and employment program spaces. The housing within the Hub will be for single women; the facility will also provide a daycare for children. Supporting Administration and Ancillary space is also located at the Hub.
